Mission Statement of Upsilon Chapter
Upsilon Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International fosters mentoring in the professional and personal growth of key women educators in the parishes of Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. James, St. John and St. Bernard in order to promote excellence in education.

State and International Organizations
Upsilon Chapter is a member of Epsilon (Louisiana) State Organization of the The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. It was organized on November 10, 1940 at Newcomb College in New Orleans by Mrs. Loretta Persohn Brehm.
