Delivering Kindness Graciously

Our latest project seeks to serve children and families through local food banks and other relief organizations. At our first chapter meeting over 130 pounds of groceries were collected and donated to the Holy Rosary Food Bank in Hahnville!

Scholarships

Each year we raise money for the Mrs. Loretta Persohn Brehm Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to a college student majoring in education.

World Fellowship & Emergency Funds

Our annual auction raises funds for DKG World Fellowship as well as the Florence Amy Emergency Fund which benefits DKG sisters in Louisiana.

Walk with Me

During this 2-year project we collected and distributed socks to those in need throughout Southeast Louisiana.

Supporting Early Educators

DKG sisters strive to encourage and support those entering our noble profession.

Schools for Africa

This project seeks to bring quality education to children in 11 African countries, with a special focus on girls, orphans, and vulnerable children.
